Lyrics: Cynosure, it's glorious You make life delirious There's no much reason To make sense at all Are we hitting the wall Tear the fabric of life Stay with much strife Are we hitting the wall Gotta catch my fall Push to a dead end Play 'til it makes sense Break or just bend Sway in my hands Lithe and glorious, you abide Stars, in dark times be my guide Are we hitting the wall Tear the fabric of life Stay with much strife Are we hitting the wall Gotta catch my fall Push to a dead end Play 'til it makes sense Break or just bend Sway in my hands

Lyrics: Clouds gathering up in things to come You drag the conversation Time to go home It's raining white light, and it's just another mad slice of life way over my shoulder This is over And if you flick back the switch i still can't be bothered 'cause it's raining still And this is way over It's a broken heart Feelings I know Anything you say, anything you don't Faith inside out My wish was blown Anything you say, anything you don't And I'd rather fade Then be part of the crowd Anything you say, anything you don't I don't mind if you're staying Just pretend we're gone Anything you say, anything you don't Clouds gathering up in shapes to come You drag on a memory I'm still goin' home Been raining for nights to an end and over You need a life before you need closure This is over And if you flick back the switch I still can't be bothered 'cause it's raining still And this is way over It's a broken heart Feelings I know Anything you say, anything you don't Faith inside out My wish was blown Anything you say, anything you don't And I'd rather fade Then be part of the crowd Anything you say, anything you don't I don't mind if you're staying Just pretend we're gone Anything you say, anything you don't

Lyrics: Black raven, sweet dreams Tryst motel, gonna get my kicks Dark heaven, love fleets Black raven And a devil beneath Old fat man and the cornerstore freaks go: "The girl seeds poison, you'll waste away at the beat..." Old fat man and the cornerstone freaks: "You know, Heaven... it ain't what you see.." Oh, nevermind Enough said I never thought Never thought you would stay Enough love for four weeks She saw the devil Now lover looks bleak No Heaven, bittersweet Tryst motel, I can't get my kicks Old fat man and the cornerstore freaks: "The girl seeds poison, you'll waste away at the beat..." Oh, nevermind Enough said I never thought Never thought you would stay
4.
Lyrics: If only I could sleep Hey now... Instead of walking around If only you could blink and twist things around If only it was a dream, but you won't back down Fall from grace, are you happy? Now you've found... Life's a paper castle, gonna burn it to the ground I mean, your hipster face & your dandy little sounds You don't know what you got and so you'll burn it to the ground Easy as it seems Hey now... Not to stand your ground Harder than you think to move it around Falling at the seams And this is how it sounds Fall from grace, are you happy? Now you've found... Life's a paper castle, gonna burn it to the ground I mean, your hipster face & your dandy little sounds You don't know what you got and so you'll burn it to the ground

Lyrics: I know you wish I know you wish I was dead Like that would clean up all the mess in my head Deeper I dug, you'll never guess what I've found Between the things you'll never tell And the lies I should have known by now You know I wish I could have made it without The stories on your love, when it comes and when it goes I know you wish me, yeah you wish me the same I know you mean it, and I mean you're insane Honestly, no, I'd rather sink down alone I know you're no good and you're never ever coming home You're never coming home Whether right or wrong You know I wish I could have made it without The stories on your love, when it comes and when it goes I know you wish me, yeah you wish me the same I know you mean it, and I mean you're insane Honestly, no, I'd rather sink down alone I know you're no good and you're never ever coming home You're never coming home Whether right or wrong
7.
Lyrics: You are just about everywhere, around my heart When I turn my head, where I see the stars. The fire's out, a distant sound It turns to ashes, buried underground Say again, are we losing each day on a string of insanity, babe? Come again? Are we losing our way - when you're frail again... Far gone and out, you take me down Bottom of nowhere, a desert town You are just about anywhere, outta my heart When I turn my head, now I see no stars. Say again, are we losing each day on a string of insanity, babe? Come again? Are we losing our way - when you're frail again...

about

Dear Baby Deer (G., with Lilia) is extremely happy to launch its second EP: "Tryst". The first single "Nevermind, we are not here" was released on November 10th and received quite a number of positive reviews.

The EP contains 7 new tracks and a bonus remix of "Drown" a dark, haunting track from our first EP. The bonus track is only available for those who download the EP here on Bandcamp, and nowhere else.

There is also a separate file for the back cover.

We recorded all the material in September 2014, and this time we decided to have two voices, deeply (and deerly) intertwined, on nearly all tracks.

This works follows our first one, about 9 months after, and we are quite happy about it. If you are fascinated by the sounds of the XX, Blonde Redhead, Beach House or Daughter, you will probably love Tryst just as much.

There is also more variety in these new songs, as we wanted to move a bit further away from the traditional indie/shoegaze sound, with tracks that are more electronic, and in some cases more uptempo than our previous release.

Dear Baby Deer sends a big hug out to all those who have listened to the EP so far and those who will do so in the future.

Note: if you wish to support us, please do it here on Bandcamp, as this is the only site where artists are directly remunerated by their fans, without having to divide sales with labels, distributors, etc..
We try to keep the download price to a minimum here, whereas we do not have control on the pricing systems of larger retailers worldwide, the use of which is nonetheless necessary for a young band like us to try and reach as many people as possible.
Oh, and if you really like our music enough to support it, we'll try our luck and ask you a little favor: tell your musical friends about us, help spread the word. :)

Thank you!
DBD loves you.
